Signing of Economic Documents between ASEAN and Dialogue Partners
On 27 February 2009 at 16.30 hrs. at Dusit Thani Hua Hin Hotel, Cha-am, Phetchaburi, ASEAN Economic Ministers signed 6 Economic Agreements with their Dialogue Partners as follows:
- Three Agreements under the framework of ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand; and
- Three Agreements under the framework of ASEAN-Republic of Korea
The above-mentioned agreements will form a fundamental basis in enhancing economic linkages between member states of ASEAN and their dialogue partners, increasing ASEAN’s attractiveness, expanding ASEAN’s economic partnership, as well as increasing trade and investment opportunity outside the region for ASEAN companies
